As I've aged, I've become less and less able to tolerate dental procedures and now experience considerable anxiety, which is an unpleasant development, to say the least.
Just today, I "endured" the replacement of a very old filling on a molar, and I must share that Dr. Elisabeth Combs and her assistant were simply phenomenal. Not only were they patient and attentive, they were FAST, exhibiting lockstep mastery of the procedure and ensuring me every step of the way. They even stopped at one point to give me a breather when I requested a break. :-)
I sincerely apologize for not remembering the name of Dr. Combs's assistant (I truly was anxious) because she was incredibly kind, helpful, and efficient.
I am so delighted to have found a wonderful dentist and assistant who went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable. Thank you; this anxious patient is eternally grateful. And my molar feels great!

I had to have some very old dental work replaced and Dr. Khan and Courtney made the whole experience as good as it could possibly be. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable for the 4+ hour appointment. Being able to get same-day crowns is a fantastic benefit of Real Life Dental. I don’t even live in the area anymore, but I’ll continue to see Dr. Khan because it’s definitely worth the drive!

Awful. The main location in Blacksburg is much better but they told me it would be easier going to this location. Have tried calling 6 times in the past 2 weeks and nobody ever picks up.
