On an earlier post, I stated I mistrusted their diagnosis, but they were correct and I retract my earlier statement. However, my complaints are: 1) I didn't like the doctor's bedside manner. He made a condescending statement about my teeth. 2) At the end of my appointment, he seemed to use a sales tactic that appeared as though he were saying that I would be required to pay for the dental treatment plan, when in fact, I knew it to be optional. 3) I had too difficult a time getting a legitimate copy of my X-rays. They ordered them from HQ and they never came in the mail. Then when I asked them about it, they said there was no record in the system, that after they order the X-rays, the request disappears in the system and they have no way of tracking it. (Come on, this is 2016).
On the other hand, I gave them one star because they did give me a very thorough exam, supposedly free, but the hidden cost was aggressive sales tactics, condenscending bed manner, and a lot of red tape which resulted in me ultimately going to another dentist who could email my X-rays the same day (like you ought to be able to do in 2016 with digital X-rays).

Very competent personnel with a very friendly and helpful attitude. Would definitely highly recommend them. They make you feel relaxed and comfortable to be in a Dentist office.

There were two others in the waiting room upset because they had to pay in advance for a set of "teeth" and whatever the other was having done. The man left upset when the second party started complaining about having to pay for the teeth, because the nursing home hadn't sent payment. The second party was very upset and hateful to receptionist. She handled the situation very well. This was the first time I had to pay in advance as well, for fluoride treatment which isn't covered by my insurance. My husband had bad luck with Aspen twice now, so when I stop paying for the insurance, I will probably change dentist.

I am still sitting here waiting for my daughter to get an extraction done from 11:00 am her appointment time till 2:00 now and she still has not seen a dentist but I’m sure I will be compensated for my wasted time. Good luck getting service

In 2019 while traveling in Virginia for work, I broke a tooth and was in pain. I visited the Virginia Beach location and had a great experience. When the Aspen location opened in Paducah, Ky ( my town), I left my life long family dentist that was basically ripping me off.
Yesterday, (06/25), I visited the Paducah, Ky location for my dental appointment and had a great experience.
Everything from the Covid 19 check-in procedures to Tosha? doing the xrays, to the Office Manager, to the procedures with the Tech and Dr Dominic Rivera was outstanding. Dr Dominic Rivera completed a tough procedure on a bad tooth that I had with precision. He and I spoke alot to get to know one another and found out he is from a small town three counties over that I currently reside in. He was very professional, listened to my concerns and did his job. I will return in the future.
To Aspen Dental. At both locations that I have visited in two states, It shows you do hire and retain good people from all their respected fields which reflects on how good of a business and goals your company is pushing for. Thank You.

My experience was a learning experience and I was very pleased with the work he and his assistants did for me,even though my mouth and lips are swollen and hurting today. Are they supposed to hurt? I don't know the answer but I would recommend Aspen to other people. Carol Jones

One of my worst dental experiences... I went in to get my teeth cleaned and the hygienist was far from gentle, I had a sore from it for a week afterward. I paid for the cleaning at that time and then later received a bill for a dental exam that I was unaware was going to take place since I had only scheduled a cleaning. I will definitely be finding a different dentist after this experience.

Super friendly staff, very up today’s equipment and in my case, they did not try to sell me extra stuff. I do have health insurance so their prices were very reasonable. Thank you!

Scheduled for 8:00am for a filling. Showed up on time but office didn’t open until 9:00am that day. Hygienist numbed the wrong side of mouth and had to repeat the numbing on the correct side. No discount offered. The filling took 12 minutes to do and cost $235. Customer service is not their specialty.

I went in with pain in two places, the first exam I was told I had two teeth that needed to be pulled. I asked about the tooth on the other side and was told it was fine. They then cleaned the side of my teeth that they were going to pull the teeth from. I came back the third time to get the other side cleaned and they then told me that I had a tooth on that side that would need a root canal and capped or pulled, this was one of the teeth that I came in with pain. They then wanted to charge me 250 dollars for meds that the used on me the first time. I told the office manager that I didn't think I should have to pay for the meds but would be glad to pay for having the tooth pulled but not the meds they should have found in the exam. I was told they would take care of it. When I came back to pull the last tooth and they were going to pull it with out me, I said that was not what I was told was going to be done. I then had to come back a fourth time and when I came back I was told that I would have to pay for the meds, I when ask for the manger and went though the whole thing again and was told that they would take care of it. I let them pull the tooth and was happy it was all done. Three months later i received a bill for 250.00 for the meds, and could not get a return phone call. i am going to pay the bill BUY WILL NEVER GET ANY MORE THIS CUSTOMER IS DONE. IF YOUR WORD IS NOT GOOD THEN YOU DON'T NEED ME AS A COSTUMER.
