Dental World Kapolei

Clinic is clean & has an excellent Dentist, Dr. Gilbert Ing. Whatever work he does on you, he explains/,tells you ahead of time! His staffs are really nice especially Erin & Tatiana. They talk to you & make you feel welcome!

My husband asked that I find him a dentist in Kapolei so he would not have to drive a great distance. I stumbled upon Dental World Kapolei when visiting other patrons in the area. As a walk-in I received a beautiful information package to take to my husband. I showed my husband and he liked what he was reading and asked that I schedule him an appointment. My husband was very impressed with his first visit and every visit thereafter. He was mostly impressed with the high technology this office offers. Then he noticed how attentive everyone in the office was and that he received excellent treatment. He was very impressed and happy. When I too recently transferred to Dr. Ing, I noticed how thorough and polite everyone was. They all smiled and showed great respect when talking to me. They said thank you to one another...even Dr. Ing would say thank you to his assistants when asking them something. This office explains everything they do before they do it so you know exactly what to expect. They take the time to answer all your questions and they are not in a hurry. They are very thorough. The office is new and clean. They are also bringing in other doctors so you do not need to look for one if or when you might need something i.e. root canal, implants, orthodontic work. Yep, we both are very happy with our choice and look forward to our next visit (a very strange thing to say about a dental office). All smiles ~ Steve & Katherine

While I was not happy to be getting so many cavities worked on, this is a great clinic with great employees. Both my hygienist and dentist were very informative, very knowledgeable and very professional. My dentist (I believe his last name is Liu, but I may be wrong) went through and explained everything in detail to me. He let me know what things I should be addressing now and what things I may have to look at in my future. He even went as far as to recommend I leave my wisdom teeth in contrary to some money hungry dentists who will extract them just to charge you. I felt like I was getting great care and service, highly recommend.

5 Stars: Professional/Personal/Reciprocity: I've lived on Oahu for 20 yrs all situation dealing with health care has been a long hard road.(Military/Civilian) Believe me, my pain drove me to the right place. Looking forward to my next appointment. How many people can say that about a dental appointment?

Stopped in to make an appt and Met Tatiana, she was very kind and offered me an appt right then because they had a cancellation. Erin did my cleaning and was wonderful, made my experience a good one, I don't like the dentist....I can say the whole staff worked as a team, very helpful and friendly making you feel comfortable. Just had my 6 mo. check-up. Wasn’t sure if they were even open due to covid but received a call the day before to confirm the appointment. DWK is taking all the necessary steps to ensure their staff and patients stay safe and healthy. I normally schedule my appointments around 4 pm so never experienced a busy waiting area, but they’ve setup a few chairs outside so social distancing for their patients is possible at this time. When checking-in a form needs to be filled out and your temperature needs to be taken prior to getting any dental work done. I’ve been coming to DWK for a few years and can honestly say each visit is always a pleasant one. This last check-up was no different. Everyone always has this calm soothing demeanor that puts you at ease - from checking-in and out with the receptionist Carla, to the x-rays and cleaning by the hygienist, and check-up by Dr. Ing. The hygienists and Dr. Ing always have a gentle hand, do well to explain everything they’re doing and are informative and very respectful when discussing your dental health and care practices, as to not embarrass patients. Overall, each appointment at this office has been awesome since such great care is given. Can’t thank Dr. Ing & staff enough for all of their hard work!!!!

Had an emergency dental situation and Carla was awesome to squeeze me in same day requested. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Communicated well in everything that went on and what needed to be done.

In a time of need, surrounded by this pandemic, I found salvation in Dental World being open today. Staff were very welcoming, quick, and efficient. Dr Ing is the best to be found! Quickly analyzed the situation, gave me options for the fix, and got it done in no time. A blessing indeed.

Doctor Yoo is the best!!!! Super cool and patient considering I had a few extractions to be done in their clinic(other dentists would refer me elsewhere to get extractions) which was so convenient. Recommend!!!!
