Extremely long wait; over 45 minutes before I was ever even brought to the back for exam. My appointment was at 1:45 and I did not leave until 4:35. I did not even have a simple cleaning done. Just X-ray and exams and financial counseling, which I must say was in no way any help at all. I have a 7000$ estimate and no options for financial help to even get it done. Dr. Casiano was very throughout and had a wonderful bedside manner. He was great.

The Dentists could have cared less that I was in tooth pain and more worried about cosmetic. I was there for over 2 and a 1/2 hours with only 30 minutes of actual being seen time.
The office Manager was the only good thing about the appointment. She was very caring.

Going to the dentist isn't my most favorite thing but the employees at this office were very pleasant and helpful. Nice, updated and clean office and exam rooms. Temperature in the building was a bit cold - I just brought a light jacket for the 2nd visit.
Now: on my third visit (2 months late because of overbooking appts.) was a totally different experience:
It was my 6 mo. routine cleaning (2 mos. late as stated) and the hygienist seemed very rushed. She didn't allow me to close my mouth at all and was choking because I had to swallow. :( Not a nice experience at all! Then, when I went to leave and checked out I was told I owed this amount for fluoride NOT having been told that in the beginning. Wasn't happy. REALLY considering going to a more patient-friendly dentist for my next appt.

I am new to this area and I am so pleased I found Aspen Dental. Excellent service. I'm having them do my dental work for sure. The Hygienist was so kind and gentle. Nurses and doctor were very patient with me as I'm 69 and getting a little fragile. Definitely recommended đź‘Ś

They were friendly, gave complete explanations of what they were seeing, and what their recommendations would be. I did not feel like I was a number to them. The doctor took his time to give me what I felt was a true and honest opinion. The end result is that I trust these caregivers to have my best interests in mind while trying to run a business too.
I highly recommend them here in Crestview. !!

Ms. Marie Harker, Aspen Office Manager, was extremely helpful for myself and my wife. I had been stressed due to a change in insurance companies, and the statement I received from their corporate office still showed that I owed more funds. Ms. Harker took the time to go over the statement and my insurance explanation of benefits, line by line. She reassured me that in reality, Aspen Dental owed me money due to the change. She also took the time to explain to my wife, a chicken when it comes to dental work, the procedure for having dentures made if necessary. By the time we left the office, we were both extremely satisfied with our visit.

After a THREE hour first appointment, they told me I had gum disease and needed to pay $1500 so that “my teeth didn’t fall out.”
Thankfully when I went in for my very expensive procedure I had been waiting for AN HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES, I was so bored I started looking up reviews on the company and saw HORRIBLE things....like THOUSANDS of other people saying that aspen dental makes up procedures you don’t really need.... I demanded a refund and walked out. My new dentist said there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with my gums.
Shame on you aspen dental
*** look up the “stop aspen dental group” thousands and thousands scammed and Crestview location is 100% taking part of it.
all 5 star reviews are FAKE NEWS and it's so obvious..

On March 15th I experienced a visit to the dentist like no other time in my life. Since it was my very first time to Aspen Dental, I expected a friendly greeting and a welcome, but it didn't happen!
As I went to the back to begin the initial x-ray process, the equipment used was just horrible, and the representative using it had a terrible time getting the equipment lined up properly, therefor the photos were not taken correctly. She had to inquire of additional help in order to get things done correctly. I even had to return to the x-ray room to re-take some shots because the others were not clear to read.
From there, another assistant proceeded to look at my teeth and gums. She told me that I would need to get some special cleaning done on my teeth, and also recommended a type of motorized tooth-brush to get my teeth cleaned on a daily basis. I expected to have my teeth cleaned, and it wasn't done.
Next, the dentist came in an did his examination and recommendations, and advised me of what he thought needed to be done. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in regards to his position.
Following that, a representative took me into an office type room and proceeded to provide me with the estimate or costs as to what needed to be accomplished for my needs. She told me that there wasn't going to be an initial cost to my first visit, as it was covered by my insurance. I mentioned to her that I didn't get my teeth cleaned and that is supposed to be covered by my insurance as well. She then told me that my teeth needed this "special" type of cleaning that wasn't covered by my insurance, thus I or my insurance was now going to be charged for an initial cleaning. Over fifty years of dental service, I always had a cleaning done without charge for the first and the sixth month check-up.
Secondly, I was now being charge for a cleaning tooth-brush that I never even ordered or wanted for that matter. (Oral-B) If I truly wanted this equipment, then I would have probably checked on one myself, and probably at a much lesser cost that was included in the estimate.
So, my teeth was not cleaned, and I was being billed for something that I didn't want....kind of like a bait and switch if you ask me!
I will probably get my teeth done when I visit the Far East in a couple of months, and I can assure you....it will be done at a far less price quoted me on this date.
I will not, and cannot recommend Aspen Dental to any of my family, friends, and neighbors.
Sincerely,
dis-enchanted

Had a great experience! Thank you Simone for your patience, I’m recovering from a stroke so I’m a bit slow on my responses. Thank you Dr. Popp for explaining my procedures clearly and your positive attitude really made me feel comfortable with going through with my surgery. Thank you Lindsey for clarifying my payment options and taking the time to help me understand more affordable avenues for my procedure. Your assistance really was greatly appreciated.

I was told they would work with you on a payment plan. The staff was very polite and gentle. But when it came time to check out the office manager brought me all the way back to the front to discuss any financial matters. I was pretty embarrassed so I just said I couldn't put the partial payment down to make the next appointment. So I'm just going to deal with what excessive dental issues I have and one day they will all fall out! Not happy at all, I was told they would discuss financial issues but didn't know it would be in the checkout window.
