Vista Ridge Family Dentistry

A deep cleaning of teeth and gums is not anyone’s idea of fun. Today it was my turn to climb into the dentists chair for that procedure. It had been years since I went to the dentist so i was quite apprehensive. Thanks to the team at Vista Ridge Family Dentistry my experience today was excellent. From the heated neck pillow to the constant communication during the procedure, this was an outstanding experience. Thanks to this great experience, I am looking forward to the next scheduled dentistry procedure with them. If you want a dentistry team that will take care of you and your dental needs, look no further, this is the one!

I have never felt comfortable visiting the dentist. The white walls, the waiting, the judgment cast on me for not flossing everyday, and the uncomfortable procedures. I want to say, Dr. Kerr and the staff at Vista Ridge changed all that for me and my family. As soon as we walked in the front door, I was immediatey relaxed. The ambiance is very soothing and the staff took every step to make us feel like part of their family. Our appointment was on-time and very professional. While my wife and I were having our dental procedures the staff entertained our children, which made things even more comfortable. Dr. Kerr came highly recommended and he didn't dissapoint. Even though we live in San Antonio, this will be our dental office from now on.

I have major anxiety issues about going to the dentist since I was a teenager. The people here make me feel as comfortable as possible and are so very friendly. They are so patient with me that I have continued going there for several years now. And I mean all the people, from the receptionist when I first check in, the dentist, hygienist, the person who takes my blood pressure, to the person who walks me to the door and all the people in between. I would recommend this practice to anyone whether you have issues or not.

DR Kerr knows me even though my husband is his patient. Dr Patel, I just love her energy.
The hygienists, no matter who I have they are all crazy knowledge and if they don’t know, they are honest and try to get you the correct answer.

I have heard from friends and reading reviews that billing is a nightmare but so far, that has not been my experience.

I have even suggested my close friends go here and they LOVE it and won’t go anywhere else.

I need the human being interaction they offer and strive for and always achieve.

Best dental experience ever. The staff is genuine, warm, welcoming, and kind. I appreciate their delicate yet honest way of approaching all dental conversations. My 4 year old and 6 year old have had a very positive experience and feel right at home when we go to the dentist. Vista Ridge is a perfect fit for our family!

Vista Ridge Family Dentistry is amazing!! I have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Kerr and Dr. Patel. I had to have a tooth pulled and Dr. Patel soothed my nerves and explained the process of having an extraction and implant. Her team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe during the procedure, especially during our current pandemic. I had IV sedation and honestly, I didn't feel a thing. She always has a positive attitude and beautiful smile (though covered in a mask). If you are in need of a cleaning, crown or extraction, I highly reccomend Vista Ridge Dentisty.

Love this dentist office! The staff are very friendly and you really just feel like you're hanging with friends while you get your teeth cleaned. You definitely feel taken care of and they care about you more than just as a patient. They know people don't love going to the dentist, so they take that extra step to make you feel comfortable and at home. I just switched from my other dentist and so happy I made that switch.

I’ve had some good dentists before but this place and the whole staff make me feel so supported holistically, not just my teeth! I’ve seen a variety of hygienists and dentists and I can’t say enough about them all! They’re so understanding and kind, gentle and personable! I had just had a tragedy with my dog and sitting in that chair was the first time I rested in 2 weeks. The warm neck pillow and lead “weighted blanket” lol felt like a spa treatment! Sprinkle on the overhead tv with HGTV, great decor, free beverages while you wait which is never long, and clean teeth, what more could I ask for! Will be sending my whole family here!

I’d refer to anyone who has moved to Austin and in search of a practice. :) The amount of detailed feedback received from Dr. Dekow and Sarah was amazing. I’ve accumulated 1-year worth of dental questions due to my grinding which were ALL answered as well as received feedback on the outlook of my oral health.

I am terrified of needles, so I hate going to the dentist. However, the Dentists and the staff were wonderful. I actually enjoyed my visit so much I forgot my fear. They make you feel comfortable with their treatment plan and you can also select sedation options suitable for you. I'm very please with my Dentist, Dr. Patel and her professional staff, Jennifer. Vista Ridge Family Dentistry is the best!
