Vista Ridge Family Dentistry

This dental practice is the most compassionate dental experience that I have ever had.
I reached out to them during a dental emergency. It was a weekend and I needed help right away! After calling multiple dentists claiming they handled emergencies I found Vista Ridge Family Dentistry. I read their comments on understanding the need for emergency care and the stress that the patient goes through during a time like this. I called their number as well as request an appointment online. Within minutes I received a call from Keenan Frenan answering emergency calls. She listened and gave comforting advice saying that she would contact a Dr. right away. Minutes later I received a text from Dr. Kerr. My gratitude was beyond description.
THIS PRACTICE TOOK ON MY PAIN WITH ME AND IT TWAS GENUINE.
Even with a full schedule Dr. Kerr fit me in with extreme patience and professionalism. He guided me and took me out of pain. He then developed a quick and accurate plan for my condition. He referred me to an endodontic group and made sure I was received right away. With his guidance and pain relief I was able to drive to my next step.
The next day I had follow up calls from VRFD's Dr. Wahi to make sure I was doing better and how could they further help me. I told her I already have made an additional appointment with their office for continued care.
I have felt so nurtured by the entire staff at VRFD that they now have a new patient for life.

Great atmosphere. Sam, the hygienist, was friendly and gentle - and Dr. Kerr was very warm and pleasant. Dr. Kerr took the time to talk with me and get to know me. I would definitely recommend this dentist to friends and family.

Poor customer service! Out of 3 appointments I have had at Vista Ridge, I've had trouble with 2 of them. I had to make an extra appointment because they didn't allot enough time for my visit for cleaning. They cancelled my appointment because they couldn't talk to me on the phone the day before my appointment to verify I was still coming. I have the feeling they are very busy and don't mind inconveniencing their clients (who take time off work and arrive on-time). They didn’t care when I told them I didn’t want to make another appointment.

The experience was great. Had a early appointment(7am) to have my wisdom teeth pulled, two crowns and some fillings taken care of. Will have to excuse me for not remembering the names of everyone. However everyone was very pleasant that I dealt with or helped me this morning. Thanks to dr hedgecock and staff for the follow up calls to see how I’m doing.

My son just turned 3 and has had been seen by two other dentists already but it always such an ordeal to take him and keep him still. Not here!!! He did have a minor melt down when it was time to stop playing with the toys and head back to see the dentist, though. Once we met the dental assistant and the two of them started chatting about cookies, all was right in his world again. He let them take X-rays and look at his teeth no problem. Every person we talked to was so nice and great with my son. At the end of the visit, he got to pick out a sticker, a sugar free sucker, AND something from the treasure chest. He was so excited; I know it won't be an issue getting him to come back.

We are so frustrated with vista ridge dental. Their billing system is very confusing. We had to pull their teeth to get a receipt for cash payments. It was hard to see what we actually owed because they showed a zero balance even when we hadn't paid yet. Plus I was charged $1,544.00 to have two teeth pulled and one bone graft. I would give a warning to all to check what you're being charged. If you have insurance good luck because they will probably want to rush you to do work that isn't necessary.
Another issue is that I'm scared to death of dentists because of all the bad dentist experiences I have had in the past. This dentist made me feel bad by commenting that I was a "lot of trouble" patient. I went in very stressed to begin with and chose this company because of their high reviews.
The front office staff is over the top nice, I guess they have to be in order to cover for the price and impatience of the dentist that saw me. Just stating my opinion.
For what I paid I should have been shown more patience and given a statement with the correct charges without having to argue with them to get it.

I see Dr. Kerr and he is fabulous. Always takes the time to talk to me about anything concerning or things that look good. He doesnt rush in or out. Super easy to work with and the staff is very friendly and already return my phone calls promptly. Glad we switched!

I would like to personally thank doctor Patel, Her professionalism and attention to detail is astounding. I have no doubt that by the time my dental procedures are finished, I will be fully satisfied. I am appreciative of her time, and personality.

If dentists scare you.... call these people! Anyone that knows me knows that I've got some jacked up teeth and terrible, awful, no good, very-bad, experiences with dentists...and now I don't even mind going! With a comprehensive care plan, very attentive personnel, Dentists who act like they want to help as much as they say they do....you won't be disappointed! I recommend Vista Ridge to people who have had a traumatic experiences with dentists. These people put me at ease IMMEDIATELY and will change your mind too!!!

Dr. Kerr is the BEST dentist ever! He is funny, caring, genuine and great at putting you at ease. He is also amazing with my kids. I can not recommend him enough!
